We continue with the rehabilitation of the facades that make up the historic building ” Sa Caleta ” located on Paseo Marítimo, well known for its great architectural importance since it was built in 1961. It has magnificent views over the bay and the city. The lower block is covered with a landscaped terrace, swimming pool and recreation area. It consists of a commercial ground floor and six floors of apartments, with interior horizontal distribution accesses, through open rear galleries. The materials used in the treatment of the facades and the gardening were the same used in similar buildings in Palma, introducing the variant of building the protections of balconies and terraces with galvanized folded sheet metal and high-resistance treatment to respond to aggressiveness of the maritime climate.
